For those of you who don't know me, my niece Rosie passed away in 2014 from a brain tumour. Rosie was the sweetest, kindest most gentle person you could ever meet but most of all, she was selfless. Rosie would never want another child to go through what she went through; complete loss of sight, surgery and disfigurement from chemo. If there is a chance of finding a cure or better treatment for Rosie's type of cancer, I know she would want us to do everything we can to help and spare a child her fate.
I am riding for Rosie in the 2018 Cops for Cancer Tour de Golden Horseshoe September 18-21, 2018. We will ride a total of 400 km as we visit communities and schools in the Golden Horseshoe.
The money raised from this event helps fund cutting-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives.
Please pledge me in Rosie's honour and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Let's do this for Rosie please!
Thank you for your support and encouragement.
