Riding For Kevin - Help End Pancreas Cancer
Doug and I are participating in 7 Days In May again this year, a cycling event and fundraiser founded in 2012 to increase awareness about pancreas cancer and to raise funds to help find a cure for this deadly affliction. This year is especially signficant for us and many around us. On January 28th, 2017, Kevin Snobel, our friend and neighbour, devoted husband of Nela Banchi, father to Andre and generally loved bon-vivant, succumbed to pancreas cancer after a valiant 2 month struggle. Yes - in only two months he was taken by this vicious disease.
This year we are dedicating the fundraising and the ride to the memory of our friend, Kevin. Please help us by supporting research into this terrible disease. Every cent of the money raised goes directly to the Canadian Clinical Trials Group working out of Kingston, Ontario. Together we can #EndPanCan!
