Welcome to Brian's personal page
I am participating in 2019 Daffodil Dash | Vancouver to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
You may not know this, but I participate in this event because Cancer has impacted my family's life deeply from a young age. For myself personally, my mother passed away from cancer when I was only 12 years old, largely due to being diagnosed too late. I know that the Canadian Cancer Society does a great job in spreading cancer awareness/research and I know that your support will help others that are impacted by cancer in any which way or form.
I also participate in this event because my wife, Melissa, is currently the chair of the event and has been involved with this particular event since it's inception. She's put a ton of effort into making it a great event and I hope that you will be able to help her make it another great event, either by registering to participate yourself or by making a donation.
The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer.
Thanks for your support!
