Dear FRIENDS & FAMILY,
JASMIN, INAAYA & I have formed a team in the DAFFODIL DASH in honour of our SUPERMAN JAS (Happy) BHATTI. This annual event is being held on Sunday April 28, 2019 to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society. WE invite you to join our team so that together we can walk/run as we remember all the happy times we shared with JAS. This event is a great way for Jasmin & Inaaya to see all the wonderful friends and family who touched thier PAPA's life and whose life he touched in one way or another.
Our team name is #SuperJasMan. We ask you and your family to come out in your favourite SUPERMAN T-SHIRT, HAT etc. rain or shine on April 28. Register in advance by clicking JOIN MY TEAM on this page. Please share this invitation with anyone else who may be interested.
On April 17 it will be 4 years since Jas passed away after his 17 month battle with bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma). During his battle he would think of others less fortunate then him who were fighting to LIVE, especially children. Supporting the Daffodil Dash is our way to remember those who fought this battle, support those who are fighting this battle and find ways to prevent cancer so others don't have to face this fight in the future.
If you are able to donate to the DAFFODIL DASH your contribution helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
On-line pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Those of you who are fighting this fight or know someone who is, we want to remind you of the 3 words that JAS lived by ...."DON'T STOP BELIEVING!!!"
Jasmin, Inaaya and Minaz BHATTI
