Cops for Cancer has been committed to the fight for life since 1997 and has raised over $42 million to fund life-saving pediatric cancer research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes.

Over the last two decades, thanks to caring communities and supporters across the province, Cops for Cancer has brought hope to children and their families facing a cancer diagnosis. As one of the largest funders of pediatric cancer research in Canada, we are excited about the progress made over the years. One of these victories includes pediatric cancer survival rates which have increased from 71% in the 1980s to over 83% today.

Each September, over a hundred law enforcement and emergency services personnel from across the province brave all types of weather as they cycle up to two weeks across the daunting terrain of Vancouver Island, Northern BC, the coast of British Columbia and the Fraser Valley. Why? Because one child with cancer is one child too many.
