What better way to say Happy Birthday?
Rob and Brenda are both turning 60 this year and we can't think of a better gift for them than a fundraiser in their names.
Like so many of us, the Atmore family has been personally touched by cancer. In June 2016, Brenda underwent surgery to remove elements of the disease she had recently been diagnosed with. Fortunately, her cancer was found early and it was completely wiped out by surgery. She's been cancer-free since, but we all know others who weren't as lucky.
Brenda and Rob faced cancer together and this year, they're also turning 60 together. Their daughters want to help offer them a meaningful gift that would make a difference beyond just family and friends. The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible. You can help the Canadian Cancer Society continue to make the most impact, against the most cancers, in the most communities across the country.
Making your donation online is the fastest, most secure way to do it and it helps to reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer. If you'd like to donate by cash or cheque, contact Lindsey Rideout, Lauren Atmore or Kassandra Barry.
P.S. Did you know these lovebirds were married on Rob's 26th birthday? Let's 34 years of wedded bliss too!
Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Greatest need
