Hair we go again!
As many of you know, Ted Whipp (my dad), has been fighting cancer for the past 5 years. He's been through surgeries and chemo, drug cocktails and even a coma! My family is continually thankful to the medical staff and social workers who have been helping us since Day 1.
For Dad's 65th birthday, I will be donating my hair to the Canadian Cancer Society on March 10th, so that it can be used to create wigs for those with medical hair loss, and I will be fundraising to support this great organization which supports cancer patients and their families.
Please consider giving what you can to support the Canadian Cancer Society, and say a big,
Happy Birthday Ted!
***Update - if the total donation for the Team "Happy Birthday Ted" surpasses $1800, I will shave my head! ***
***Update - Ben has joined the Team, and we are hoping to soon become twins! See photos for projected outcome. ***
Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal! The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible.
Your generosity will help the Canadian Cancer Society continue to make the most impact, against the most cancers, in the most communities across the country.
Make your donation online – it’s fast, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
