Matt Cowan's fundraising page
On April 29th I'm participating in the 6th annual Face off for Fathers hockey tournament. So far, with amazing support from family and friends, this event has raised over $110,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. We would like to add to that total this year.
The theme of our event has always been honoring all fathers that have supported hockey and youth development. This year we honor not only the fathers, but everyone close to us that has suffered with Cancer.
We have 2 ways for you to participate in the event this year, pledge online or attend in person.
To pledge online through my personal page click on the Donate button - a tax receipt will be generated automatically.
Attend in person:
Come and join us at the rink, socialize, watch some exciting hockey, enjoy food and beverages.
When: Sunday, April 29th, 2018 9am - 4pm
Where: Ted Reeve Hockey Area, 175 Main St. Toronto, Ontario M4E 2W2 (link to map)
More about the cause:
Our goal this year is to raise $20,000, with 100% going to the Canadian Cancer Society. The money raised helps fund leading-edge cancer research, and critical services like:
- Improving cancer treatment
- Offering vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families
- Advocating for healthy public policy
Thanks for taking the time to read this message. I really appreciate the support, and it would be great to see you at the rink on April 29th.
