Welcome to my fundraising page!
We are Cancer Fighters!
As most of you know, we have recently lost someone oh so very dear to us, who was one of the bravest cancer fighters I know.
In honour of Nana, my niece Alexis Aline and I (and possibly our cousin Erika too) will be cutting our hair next Friday, August 3rd, to donate to help make wigs for women who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment. As Alexis said at camp: I want to cut my hair off and give it to Nana!
Did you know that it takes 8 to 15 ponytails to create 1 real-hair wig? That's pretty crazy, eh?
Since we want to make a difference, we also want to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer - especially brain cancer. We hope we can count on you and your support!
Please donate today and help us reach our fundraising goal of $1000.00 in honour of Nana! The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible.
Your generosity will help the Canadian Cancer Society continue to make the most impact, against the most cancers, in the most communities across the country.
Make your donation online – it’s fast, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
Un gros merci de votre générosité!
