St. Andrew's Cuts for Carley
Cancer has touched the lives of many people throughout the world and St. Andrew’s is no different. In 2009, we started a small fund raiser in conjunction with two staff members willing to donate their hair to be used in wigs for cancer patients. We have taken this small endeavour and grown it into a school-wide event that has raised thousands of dollars for cancer research and allowed many students, staff and family members to give their hair to make wigs for cancer patients.
Our namesake Carley was an integral part of our school for the three years she was a student, as were her sisters. We would like our students to understand that this disease is indiscriminate and that anyone, at any time, can be affected. Cancer has touched so close to home for our community, we wish for nothing more than a cure for cancer.
When you make a donation to our team or to any of the passionate team members, you are providing hope to thousands of people affected by cancer. Your generosity will fund innovative research, provide vital support services to cancer patients and help change lives.
Please donate online today and help our team reach our goal.
Proceeds from our fundraiser will support the fight against cancer
