The Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba School Dragon Boat Challenge is a fundraising event to help Manitobans who are fighting cancer. It takes place on Sunday, June 3rd at the Manitoba Water Ski & Wake Board Park (a.k.a Lake Shirley) at 365 Murdoch Rd. in Transcona.

Dragon boating is a super fun way of raising money to fight cancer in Manitoba! Once your team has registered to paddle in the event, you can register the team here to fundraise (it's free!).

The money raised helps Manitobans and their families who are on a cancer journey through cutting edge research, clinical trials and vital community based service and support programs.

Last year's festival drew more than 1100 paddler from 50 teams from across southern Manitoba.

Again this year, the Top 8 fundraising teams will be honoured with a special recognition race. In addition, the Top 3 fundraising teams (most money raised) and the top 3 fundraising student paddlers will be eligible for wonderful incentive prizes!

What are you waiting for? Register your team here to fundraise online, then have all of your team mates join the team online! Fundraising online is safe, secure and easy! Please contact Dave at 204-788-4547 or by e-m at dragonboat@mb.cancer.ca if you have any questions.
