Ride 2 Survive
It doesn’t seem that long ago that I whispered the words “good-bye” to both my beloved Mom and Dad. Both were taken by Cancer within just a couple of years of one another. For my Dad, June 27th 2007 to Bone Cancer. My Mom, June 16th, 2010 to Lung and Pancreatic Cancer. For me, I not only lost my Mom and Dad, but lost two of my best friends. After losing my Mom I felt my life had turned upside down. Cancer spared no remorse and unfortunately both of them suffered with pain and discomfort while on their journey.
I have been apart of the Ride 2 Survive organization for the past 7 years. This year being my second year Riding.
To date we have raised over 7.5 Million dollars WITHOUT any administration fees, event costs or marketing costs coming off our donation dollars. Our goal this year is 1 Million!!
I ride for my friends, I ride for my neighbors, I ride for my co-workers and I ride for the children. I ride becasue I can. Every dollar donated goes directly to the cause – no matter how big or small – it will help SAVE LIVES. Together we CAN and WILL make a difference.
Thank you all for your continued support, friendship and most of all your love – my heart bursts with gratitude.
