I relay for my grandma, who lost her battle with cancer 3 years ago, and for everyone who has lost to or beat cancer. This year, I am also relaying for my dad, who is currently fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I hope the funds raised will not only help cancer research, but also help fund the many needs of cancer patients and their families.
500 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer today, which means that one more will hear the words “you have cancer” by the time you finish reading this.
That’s not ok to me so I am doing something about it. I am fighting to create a world where no Canadian fears cancer. Through Relay For Life, we can fund Canada’s most promising research and vital support services for cancer patients and their families.
I Relay for those who can’t. So donate for me, yourself, your friends or your family, but please, just donate. Thanks in advance for your support
