Welcome to My Fundraising Page!
Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.”
My life changed in September 2011 because of breast cancer. That's when the “Big C” came storming into my life and stopped me in my tracks. For a little over a year dealing with Breast Cancer became a “full time job”. Fear, anxiety, scans, surgeries, nausea, hair loss, sadness were all a part of my story like so many friends and relatives who unfortunately have endured a similar experience.
Today, when I think of breast cancer, I am grateful…for my life, my family and friends, the treatment I received, and the medical advancements that have afforded me a future! I think about trying to do something to improve the lives others who may face the fear and dread of breast cancer.
That is why for my 8th straight year on Sunday, October 6th, I will lace up to support the Canadian Cancer Society by participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure.
Please help me to raise money for this worthy cause by supporting my efforts with the CIBC Run for the Cure. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, but there is still so much work to be done.
Together, we can change the future of breast cancer.
Thanks in advance for your support!
