Welcome to Davidson Food Equipment "Epicureans"

We are "The Epicureans": Sheree Davidson, Ross Davidson, Cathy Elvin, Scott Elvin with Chef Leanne English of UNB-Sodexho!

SHEREE DAVIDSON: THE BOSS!! Sheree, "the unknown chef"', has been cooking since she was a kid. If it's in the house, it's in the recipe. She uses whatever is at hand, and it always seems to turn out. Sheree is an R.N. by trade, but has owned Davidson Food Equipment in Fredericton for the last 21+ years. Sheree lost her father to cancer several years ago.

ROSS "MAD SCIENTIST" DAVIDSON: The mad scientist of drinks. Ross began in the Foodservice industry in 1978. It's hard to beleive with that youthful appearance!! Maybe it's science, or is it? Ross has been visiting restaurant kitchens for decades, and has picked up a few pointers along the way. Having lost his father to cancer in 1991, he has modified his diet to much more than "meat & potatoes".

CATHY "COOKS FOR AN ARMY" ELVIN: Cathy likes to eat. So, in order to eat more things, cooking became her passion. Her cookbooks are caked with, well cake, among other things. Cathy is a first grade teacher in Harvey NB. She has yet to master cooking for two people - to the benefit of all her students and the staff at the school where she teaches! If you're ever in the neighbourhood, chances are there will be a seat at the table for you!

SCOTT "USE EVERY POT IN THE KITCHEN" ELVIN: To call Scott a whirlwind in the kitchen would be an understatement. In addition to using every pot, every cupboard door must also be left open in order for any meal to be called a success. Somehow, in all that chaos, Scott still manages to pull together the most amazing flavours. This is particularly incredible considering his sheltered diet growing up; Hamburgers and pizza were the staples of his childhood. Scott recently lost both of his grandparents to cancer, so this years event is particularly close to his heart.

We are participating in BITE FOR THE FIGHT 2018 in Fredericton in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.

The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.

Please pledge our team and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.

Thanks for your support!
