Sisters Against Cancer

We are participating in Toronto Waterfront 10k 2017 to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.

Cancer has effected our lives in many ways: in 2007, our father lost his battle with leukemia. Nicole has personally had two instances of melanoma but thankfully was able to beat it. Everyone we know has been effected by cancer in some way, and most recently, a woman Nicole went to secondary school with and who was a loving wife and mother, sister, daughter, friend... lost her battle with ovarian cancer.

Amidst all of the sadness and despair, there is one thing we can do to honour these souls who were lost, and that is to try and raise money towards the Canadian Cancer Society:

The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.

Please pledge us and help us reach our fundraising goal. Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.

Thanks for your support!
