Lulu and I are partnering up to participate in Bark For Life at Trinity Bellwoods Park to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society on Saturday, September 20th at Trinity Bellwoods Park.
Our whole family, the Ortilla's, get to combine two things that we value the most...spending quality time with our pets outdoors while fighting for a good cause. Since this is a dog event, let me give you some background info on my lil loveable partner, Lulu Lemon. She was born on February 7th, 2011. She is half-pug and half-given up trying to figure out. But we do know she is 100% pure love and affection. If you put her in a race to the finish, she'd be in 1st place everytime as her nickname should be "Speedy Ortilla". However just don't put her in a Tricks contest, she leaves that kind of stuff to her older brother, Lechon.
The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
Please pledge us and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Please note that the walk is just around the corner so get your donations in for this cause that is so close to our hearts.
Thanks for your love and support!
May and Lulu
