I am participating in a 30-Day Cycling Challenge in November to support the Canadian Cancer Society's Wheels of Hope. It is a critical transportation service. In Ontario, 1 in 5 cancer patients cannot get to their cancer-related medical appointments.
Over the month of November, I commit to cycling to support cancer patients in my area. On average, one person requires 14 round trips by volunteer drivers through the Wheels of Hope transportation service. Each round trip typically costs $60 in my area.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every dollar takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Pledges of any amount are welcome. Here are some suggestions:
· $30, the average cost of a one-way trip to cancer treatment
· $60, the average cost of one round trip to cancer treatment
· $120, the average cost of two round trips to cancer treatment
Thank you so much for your support!
