A cousin of mine is organizing the 30-Day Cycling Challenge: a new fundraiser that you can do indoors or outdoors, anywhere, anytime in the month of November. I am cycling for my Dad who passed away from pancreatic cancer 43 years ago this November.
I am committed to cycling 240km, the typical round trip to cancer treatment in my area and raising $840, the average cost to drive someone to appointments throughout their treatment. I will cycle about 8km a day.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every dollar takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Pledges of any amount are welcome. Here are some suggestions:
· $30, the average cost of a one-way trip to cancer treatment
· $60, the average cost of one round trip to cancer treatment
· $120, the average cost of two round trips to cancer treatment
Thank you so much for your support!
