Event News: Over $60,000 raised at the 2014 Stair Climb for Children's Cancer!!!
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who supported the event this year. Thank you to all the climbers who ran or walked up the 660 steps! Thank you to everyone who supported a climber with a donation! Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped make the event run smooth and created a special event experience for everyone there! Thank you to all the Olympic Heroes and Hopefuls who came out and supported the child survivors. You certainly brightened their day! Thank you to the media who came out to cover the event.
Congratulations to Julia Glaves, the winner of the Climb Buddy Family prize. Her climb buddies raised a whopping $10,825.94!! Julia receives a trophy and a "Celebrate Life" party package including a rental of an inflatable bouncer, games and cotton candy machine courtesy of Atlantis Inflatables, party decorations, pizza and cupcakes. Total value of over $700.00!
Milica Borkovic came in second with her 57 family and friends raising $7,254.14! Milica and her family will receive 6 day passes to Great Wolf Lodge.
Scott Gemmell came in third place with his buddies raising $3,823.93! Scott's family will receive passes to the Kiwanis Aquatic Centre.
Congratulations to Jessica Folino for being our top individual fundraiser. Jessica raised over $2,000.00! To thank Jessica for her support, sponsors and donors provided Jessica with Niagara Parks passes and a $100 gift card for restaurant/hotel in Niagara Falls and a portait session at Nerses Photo Studio.
Congratulations to Olympian Jake Holden for being our top athlete fundraiser. Jake raised over $900.00 to help his climb buddy Scott Gemmell.
Congratulations to the St. Catharines Firefighters Local #485 for being our top company team and #7 on her Jersey, #1 in our Hearts for being our top family/friend team.

A family-friendly event that involves a vertical challenge held at the world-famous Skylon Tower in picturesque Niagara Falls, Ontario. Participants pay a $20 registration fee and are asked to raise pledges. Register online and raise funds with your personal fundraising page and/or raise funds offline with the pledge sheet. If you prefer to register offline, print the registration form and return it to the local society office or bring it with you on the day of the climb. Registration includes an event t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by April 4, 2014) and participants may earn additional incentives for pledges raised.
