Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. have teamed up with the Canadian Cancer Society in conjunction with our 2014 National Tour and Ninja Track Experience.
The money we raise will fund the Canadian Cancer Society's Wheels of Hope transportation program, which helps cancer patients focus on getting well and not on worrying about how they will get to treatment. It is the only program of its kind, and has been providing safe and comfortable rides to cancer patients for over fifty years. Last year in Ontario alone, Society volunteers drove 13 million kilometres, helping 13,000 patients to more than 116,000 cancer-related appointments.
Riders who sign up for TRACK events must make a minimum donation of $40. If a rider is signing up for DEMO events they must make a minimum donation of $10. Riders must show proof of donation to Kawasaki staff at the event they have reserved, to be eligible to participate at their chosen event(s).
Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs. All dontations of $10 or greater will be eligible for a tax receipt.
We look forward to seeing all of you the Demo events and Ninja Experience track events in the coming months. Thanks for your support!
