In Honor of Sandro Colasacco
With heavy hearts we announce Sandro’s passing after a year and a half long battle with head and neck cancer.
Sandro will be remembered for his strong work ethic, sense of humour, storytelling and listening skills and his keen interest in and knowledge of a wide variety of topics, especially pertaining to military history and politics. He loved good food, good wine, travelling, staying physically fit and being outdoors (as long as yard work was not involved).
The family would like to extend sincere thanks for the kind and compassionate care provided by family physicians Dr. Connie Ruffo and Dr. Jatinder Tiwana, surgeon Dr. Donald Anderson, the staff of the BC Cancer Agency Fraser Valley Centre, Dr. Hannah Nette and the rest of the staff at Inspire Health, Dr. Lindsay Adrian ND, Dr. Sonia Tan DTCM, Dr. Paul Klimo, and finally Dr. Andrew Collins and the rest of the staff and volunteers at Peace Arch Hospice who made Sandro’s final days so wonderful. Special thanks to family friend Dr. Mildred Chang for all the medical advice and assistance she provided.
Please contact a family member or RCMP colleague for details regarding Sandro’s celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ride2Survive in Sandro’s name are greatly appreciated.
The Ride2Survive ensures that every dollar donated goes to cancer research without any admin or operating costs reducing your donation's impact.
Thanks for your support!
