On Daffodil Day, I'm going grocery shopping.

A friend of mine - a young, single mother - is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She's had to leave her job, and the assistance she's able to get isn't much. So I'm going to take her to her favourite grocery store and fill her refrigerator and freezer with - I hope - enough food to keep her and her children going until she's able to work again.

I'm sure this will be a great relief to her - one less stress during a terribly stressful time. I hope this will help give her the encouragement she needs to continue her fight.
