My mom has terminal cancer

Let's end this disease once and for all!

My mom Karen Mills, was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2008. We just found out last week that it is terminal. We as a team "In Karen's Shoes" will be in the Relay For Life in Cold Lake, Alberta on May 29, 2009.

This Relay is important to our family and friends. By participating and by peoples' kind donations, we can unite and fight back. How are we fighting back?

"Relay for life" raises money for cancer research so we can stop this evil disease from ruining other families.
My mom is a VERY special person. She is sooo very strong through all this and puts her family and friends feelings ahead of her own. My mom is the most caring, loving, happy, supportive person I know. I am so lucky to have been blessed with the mom I have. She has been there EVERY time I ever needed her. I have so many memories and will carry those with me at all times.

She will be with me ALWAYS and will NEVER be forgotten! I love you mom.
